What services does Text-It-On provide? Text-It-On offers simple one-way mobile messaging solutions via text message. You can create news and updates and schedule the date and time of text message delivery. How long is a text message? Your text messages can be up to 140 characters in length. How will people subscribe to my messages? We will provide you with a link you can put in an email or on your website so you can invite your people to subscribe. How will people know who the message is from? We recommend you put your name, business name, or web site, or some other brand identifier address in your text messages. No, in order to protect your customers from spam, we require them to follow a subscription link and sign up online. We then send a confirmation code to their phone and a confirmation email. This 'double opt in' process prevents people from receiving spam texts. What types of messages can I send? At this stage we are only supporting simple text messages, not multimedia messages. Can I create messages other than promotional messages? Yes, of course. You can create news, updates, promotions, inspirational messages, or any other type of message you think would be useful to your customers. When will subscribers receive my text messages? Subscribers will receive your text messages at the delivery date and time you specify. Can I receive text message responses from my subscribers? No, at this time Text-It-On only offers simple, one way text marketing solutions. Can my subscribers send me text messages via Text-It-On? No, at this time Text-It-On only offers outbound text marketing solutions. Do you offer reports on how many messages were read by my customers? Unfortunately no. Text-It-On is a simple, inexpensive service and we do not track whether messages are read. Other more expensive services may offer this feature.  |
